I've tried making the forums easier to navigate with the recent comments column on the right and the new topics on the left. Has this helped anyone? I use it to keep up with what is going on. Let me know what is useful and what is waisted space.
Well, understandably, the old posts don't always have relavent or up-to-date information, but some do and deleting would defeat one of the purposes of the forum and that is to have information when needed. Deleting old posts would require someone choosing what to delete and what not to delete. Inevitably, some would be deleted that other people still used.
I'll keep trying to refine the views so you don't see ones that haven't been updated. Try this page www.sabrewers.org/recentcomments to help you weed through what you've already read. It shows only posts that have new content. Right now it shows the same post more than once. I'm working on that part.
With the small amount of traffic we currently generate, I don't see any reason why one forum would not be enough so we can see all posts easily without having to navigate in and out of the different topics.

True, but having only one general forum instead of 5-6 smaller ones would show the true amount of traffic instead of a watered down impression.
