Brew tree or "other"

So we know Jeff has a brew tree. Pretty sure Lamar got one for christmas. What do the rest of you use?

I run my dishwasher so it'll be warm... then sanitize it (spray ith Star San) and stand the bottles up, using the dish dividers as stancheon, and let them drip dry-ish. This process was more problem-matic when I was using a bleach solution and idophor. It's much easier now that I use Star San. (thanks for that tip) That and the facts that I keg most batches.

Bottle trees

We have 2 bottle trees. A short one and the taller one. It was a pain before we got our bottle tree. It's hard trying to figure out how to prop all you sanatized bottles up. They are worth the price. Just break down and buy one.

The brew tree was about the

The brew tree was about the only thing I didn't get from Doug's this Christmas. I still want one, but I don't know where I would put it right now. I have used Will's and the thing is great!

I TO HAVE A BREW TREE (WITH

I TO HAVE A BREW TREE (WITH THE SPRAYER) AND LOVE IT. IF YOU LOOK AT WHAT THE BREW TREE HOLDS I THINK THE SPACE SIZE IS GOOD. 50 TO 90 BOTTLES TAKE UP ALOT OF ROOM, JUST LOOK AT MY GARAGE ,BUT THE BREW TREE IT TAKES UP LESS SPACE TO ME.

I stand corrected. Bottle

I stand corrected. Bottle tree is what I meant.

I havent invested in one because of the space issue. It's a uni-tasker and I hate uni-taskers. If I ever make a "sweet" brew space, like so many already have... I will certainly invest in one or two. ;)

You too must be an Alton

You too must be an Alton Brown fan. This is one uni-tasker I think is worth having. All others may die!

For those of you who has no clue who they are talking about.

I got this from Wikipedia
Thank goodness for Wikipedia!

Alton Brown (born July 30, 1962 in Los Angeles, California, United States) is an American food personality, cinematographer, author, and actor. He is the creator and host of the Food Network television show Good Eats, the miniseries Feasting on Asphalt and the main commentator on Iron Chef America. Brown is also the author of several cooking how-to books and a regular contributor to Bon Appétit and Men’s Journal magazines.

He brings a knowledge and enthusiasm for the science of cooking and food, and a humorous approach to his shows. Bon Appétit magazine named him "Cooking Teacher of the Year" in 2004.

Brown received a degree in drama from the University of Georgia. He first worked in cinematography and film production, and was the director of photography on the music video for R.E.M.'s "The One I Love". He also worked as a steadicam operator on the Spike Lee film School Daze.

At some point, he noticed that he was very dissatisfied with the quality of cooking shows then airing on American television, so he set out to produce his own show. Not possessing the requisite knowledge, he enrolled in the New England Culinary Institute, from which he graduated in 1997.[1] Brown states that he had been a poor science student in high school and college, so he began to study the subject as he took cooking training and felt the need to understand the underlying processes of cooking.

WOW

I've seen several Food Network bios on him and this still had info I never knew. Good one Karen!

And oh yea, He's the MAN!

I have a brew tree. It works

I have a brew tree. It works great. I've often been concerned about contamination from unsanitized bottles but haven't had the problem. A second brew tree for sanitized stuff sounds like a great addition. My only problem is that damn thing is always in the way.

I have two

bottle trees. Each holds 50 or so bottles. One is only used for dirty (but rinsed) bottles. The other only for clean/sanitized bottles. When the dirty one if full, I take the bottles off and let them soak a day or two in warm water with PBW, which gets the inside clean as well as removing most labels, then rinse with the bottle jet and put on the other tree. When dry, I spray starsan in each bottle and put them back on the tree until use.
