Hopefully this will be our first meeting at the new Jailhouse Brewing Co. located in downtown Hampton!

Style of the month is 8A Standard / Ordinary Bitter and Karen will lead this presentation.

Greg will schedule a technical seminar and let the group know what will be covered.

Bring your brewing gadgets to share with the group.

Chairs

I have 4 that I'm bringing. We only use them around the holidays so I'll be happy to leave them there for the immediate future.

well after much hard work we have power and bathrooms so we can meet at brewery but each person will need to bring there own chairs and i guess we need some card tables we have none at brewery

Think they would be open to it, though it is small. We would probably have to pay a fee to hang there on a Saturday night. I am fine hosting a meeting here at the house again if need be.

I have never brewed a bitter. Anyone have a good recipe to share?

I've done Jamil's recipe before and it won 2nd or third....

If the Jailhouse is not ready....I'll look into hosting the meeting. Taco Mac won't let us bring our beers in.....

I'm game for whatever the group wants to do......but I'd vote for us to keep having our meetings where we can really have a meeting. I know a lot of clubs have meetings at bars...but I can't see how we would be able to do the style of the month.....homebrewers tastings, tech seminars...ect.

Maybe it's time to put together a club field trip to Taco Mac? Separate from the meeting?

The old club I was in use to have meetings there all the time. Pat was very cool with it, as a matter of fact he would sit down and drink our beer with us. Just need to make sure folks buy food from him and tip his staff good.
