What I think would be awsome
What I think would be awsome is a reality show/documentary on a brewery getting started. It would be great. OCC meets brewing.
A while back, there was a
A while back, there was a segment on Dirty Jobs about hops harvesting. The kids found it entertaining. Plus they were able to identify a hops plant we ran across in someone's yard.
thats a great idea!
you know, the discovery channel is a very public oriented company. you may be onto something. reality TV is still going on the up and up. and if LA ink can make a show for three seasons, then ANYTHING can get on the air. I'll see what i can look up on this. Hey, they can call it "Beertropolis" or "BrewNation" or "The Watch other people sweat show"
cheers,

These guys are based out of Savannah, and do a weekly web cast on tasting various commercial beers. I bet they would know about it. The head guy is a producer for some tv channel down there.
Screen Plays
I know a great up and coming screen play writer.

i find docs voice is like nails on a chalk board. he is like john madden of the homebrew world really dosent say anything informative.
I never listen to the live
I never listen to the live show...but will occaisonally listen to the podcast depending on the guest. Used to listen religiously but the format has changed somewhat and I have a hard time devoting 3+ hours to mindless chatter. Also, I find brew strong to be too dry, so I don't listen to it much either. I preferred the older format when they weren't separate shows...brewing techniques combined with mindless chatter.
I agree Greg. Can you brew
I agree Greg. Can you brew it is ok but the show has veered from the original.
