I am thinking of buying a few hop rhizomes and was wondering which ones to get. Basically I am looking for a popular kind that is in a majority of beer styles. It doesn't matter if it's for dry hopping, aroma or for the main brew. Just looking for a popular one to start with and possibly use or even share with others if growing a different kind.
So far I see Cascade, and Williamette as possible candidates. Not sure that SAAZ will grow here and is available.
My other question is did or has anyone bought any hop rhizomes from Midwest or is there a better place to buy them from?
Any help post through this forum.

I know you're supposed to wait a few years before digging up any rhizomes.
You would be suprised how
You would be suprised how much a little 4 inch rhizome will grow in one year. You don't need to dig up the whole thing, just use a shovel to slice off a piece, say about 6 inches away from the crown
I heard that somewhere, but
I heard that somewhere, but I was also thinking about growing a garden anyways, but thought about buying some just to see if I can get it to grow.
