You may notice a little icon that looks like this
at the bottom left hand corner of some submission form input fields. This feature allows you to upload an image and insert it into your submission or post. Note: this feature should not be used to upload images to a photo gallery. However, you can use images from existing image galleries and insert them into your posts this same way. Read on to find out how.
Let's say your posting a new forum topic and would like to include an image in your post. By placing your cursor (little blinky thing that tells you where your typing) in the desired location of your text and clicking on the upload picture icon you will get a pop-up window that will provide two options. Here you can browse images previously uploaded and use them in your post or you can upload a new image. Let's look at those two options in detail.
Adding images to your post obviously creates more engaging content and adds personality to the site. Use the insert image icon to build creative and interesting posts. It also helps when trying to demonstrate something to others. They say an image is worth a thousand words. Also, you can insert multiple images as well.
I hope this makes sense. Don't be afraid to try adding an image to your next post. If something goes wrong it can be fixed easily so don't be concerned. Try different settings to get your desired effect. And as always, if you have a question you can email me glenngolden@yahoo.com or comment this posting and I will try to help.
