Hello everyone, I was visiting a friends bike shop (Epic Bikes) the other day and we were discussing beer. He used to work at John Harvards in Atlanta. He wasn't a brewer but is a beer lover. Anyway, they are having a big moving party for their shop and I thought it would be a cool idea for us to serve up some of our beer there. He was totally open to the idea so I was thinking we could do a special brew for the occasion. Is anyone interested in doing this as a club?

Just tossing this out there for input.... Should we go ahead and put the next 2 or 3 brew days on the calendar? Also, do we need to get someone to volunteer to get the grain and equipment for each brew day. I would like to volunteer for either one of those tasks (Getting grain or equipment) if needed. It seems like a lot of things for one person to coordinate on their own.

ok. I would like opinions.
Have already picked and dried a little over an ounce of cascade. From what I see there are maybe 2 or 3 more oz. worth of dried hops on the vines(bines).
Was going to brew a fresh hop batch this weekend and want opinions on a recipe. Maybe something to showcase.
Any ideas/thanx. And if any ideas come tomorrow then send them to me at brian.chambers@na.flintgrp.com
I would be willing to pitch them in a combined batch with someone if they so desired

Judging will begin promptly at 9:30 AM on March 1, 2008. Registration will start at 9am - please be on time.

Most likely there will be some preliminary judging between 2/18 and 2/29. Entry deadline is 6 PM on Sunday February 17, 2008.
